What a fun evening for us. June 5th, 2012, we had these four Elders over for dinner. Elder Fagg from England, Elder Madsen from Orem, Elder Musaazi from Uganda, and Elder Reeve from Hurricane, Utah. We had a typical American Roast Beef Sunday dinner and they seemed to really enjoy it. South Africa doesn't seem to know what pot roast is and they eat a lot of lamb, pork, and chicken. They eat a lot of "Pap" which I have yet to learn how to make--if I do. It's between corn meal and cream of wheat and it's like a mush. They couldn't stay long as they had appointments, but they said the work is progressing very well. Especially for Elder Madsen and Elder Musaazi who are in Alexandra right now. That is a rather rough township--completely black area. They are great missionaries and we loved feeling of their spirit and enthusiasm for the work. (Check out our wallpaper!) |
Is that your collage of all your pictures you've taken? It looks amazing if it is!! I love it.
